I would imagine the strength and dexterity of your wrists has alot to do with the throwing events. Are there exercises you can do to help with this?

I can think of some things that would maybe help but honestly I'd think that just practising the throwing event should be exercise enough.

There are some weights exercises that you could do, I am sure that using wrist weights would help and you could do basic suppleness exercises too.

I'm guessing maybe you mean things you can do inside without a full length javelin? I imagine the weights and suppleness would be important. Teaching the joints and muscles to stretch and become stronger.

Some of the arthritis exercise toys might help you-have you looked at any of those? You can see them at places that specialise in elderly independence aids.

I can imagine the looks you'd get with that. Maybe you could make your own? I know stress balls can be made from a balloon and some flour. Wonder what you could find online to help?
