This may not be track related, but I was wondering where I can buy these kind of shoes online like adidas or something.

If you go to addidas.com they have a new series of shoes called "made for Beijing" that are a shoe for every event in the Olympics. I imagine what you're looking for is there and should have the where to order information.

I have the Do Win weightlifting shoes (white/blue, double straps), which are pretty got. I broke a strap on the pretty quickly, but it was the lower and the upper i more important. If you get them I'd also get better laces.

If I were to buy shoes today, I'd go with the Nike Romaleos.

Be sure to check out the $45 Do Wins: http://www.vsathletics.com/product.php?xProd=1823&xSec=1 .... As far as I know, they're the same as the Do Wins. $45 is a bargain. Some say they're ugly as sin but I kind of like 'em.

And btw. you don't need lifting shoes, unless you'll be doing full snatches, full cleans and lots and lots of front squats.

lol, for $45 ugly may get alot prettier if they do the job. I've never bothered with lifting shoes myself, but I only do enough to get the coach off my butt.
