I've been having an issue with my sneakers slipping since its gotten warm out. They never used to and my coach finally tracked it down to me sweating and using a thick body lotion which is making my heel slippery. Has anyone else had this issue?

The problem is on the inside of the shoe? Never had an issue but then I don't use lotion on my feet or legs either.

I can only suggest maybe wearing socks? If you can't do that, wash the shoes out with dish detergent, then do them in the machine once you rinse them, and try to avoid the heel with lotion before training in future.

Its between the shoe and the sock it seems, when I sweat alot. I normally don't lotion my foot if I am running, but do lotion my legs. I guess I'll just have to find a better absorbing lotion or not put it on before running.

Have you tried putting powder in your shoes? I know that some can be slippy, but gymnasts use a type of chalk for grip-can you find something like that to try?

I'm not sure gymnast chalk would be great to stick in your shoes. Its easier to just not lotion your legs. Unless you have super dry skin it should be fine and keep the slippage under control.
