In one of my sprint races- I've got to race against a 6'2'' person and I am only 5'9'' although I actually weigh more than him. He is 146lbs ( yes skinny ) and I am 154lbs- my arm is 1'' bigger than his and I have 1.5% less bodyfat than him.

Who would win if you had to pick? because he would have a better stride length and weighs 8 lbs less than me which means he could push off the ground easier but he doesn't ''sprint train'' 3 times a week which I do but he plays basketball 4 times a week- which is better?.
On my side, I can rotate my feet faster and the other guy doesn't know how to run on the balls of his feet which is an advantage. Also does possessing more leg strength than he does help at all as I also weightlift? prediction?

I wouldn't like to say. I mean if he hasn't trained all year but you have then you are likely to take the race. But basketball is good for explosive starts and quick little bits, but not the distance so much. So it depends on the distance run in part.

distances racing together are 200 and 400m

Does he play basketball for recreation or as part of a team? If he plays as part of a team the training would include weight lifting as well, so that might not help out as much as you think.

Otherwise I would say it could go either way as you each will have strengths and weaknesses that are likely oposite of the other it sounds like.
