Well, sports day is coming up and I want to sign for 2 races- I am going to sign up for 400m but should I also go with 200m and 800m? Last year I got 3rd in 800 and in 200- I got second last but I didn't ''run on the balls of my feet'' and I was only a second away from the leader- How much time can running on the balls of your feet improve?

The amount of time it can cut off your race is ging to depend on how well you do it and your natural ability. Assuming you and the previous winner have not changed except you running on the balls of your feet (and doing it well) you could probably catch them this year.

I would go for the 800 if I were you since you already have a track record of not winning against current competitors in the 200m. Can you do them both, or is there a limit?
