Do any of you have issues with these? Like the ones in Nike air sneakers? I bought a couple pairs and actually had the air cushion pop or crack on me after a couple months. I understand that I do alot of running, but it really disappointed me. Is it just me?

No, I never buy trainers like that. I buy the solid sole ones, Reebok generally, sometimes Adidas. I always worried about the cells splitting in the air ones, and besides, I never found much of an improvement over normal foam rubber cushioned shoes. So I didn't see the point in taking the risk.

I've had similar problems where they seem to squeak or make whooshing noises, but never thought it might be the air thingy that broke. Have you contacted the company about the problem?

Yeah I contacted them. They replaced the first two pairs I had an issue with. Then they tried to tell me I wasn't treating them properly, ie leaving them in a hot car, in direct sunlight, etc. I told them the bottom of my closet or my gym bag in my locker didn't count.

They might also consider that more serious training is a misuse. I know that sounds strange but so much now is just done for appearances sake-it's not hugely functional. That's why I just buy basic trainers, because I know that they do what they say because they don't say they do much ;)
