I would have to say I like anything by Nike but I have a rather odd bone on the top side of my foot that makes it hard to fit a shoe sometimes and theirs always fit wonderfully. Some of the more popular ones just don't cut it for me. Any preference for brand or features?

Nike for spikes, Asics for running shoes

I'm a fan of Reeboks for almost anything. I love the way that they feel, the way that they look and the way that they hold up without wearing too badly. Plus the price suits me.

I don't think I've owned a pair of Reeboks for ages. I do have a couple pairs of Nike and a couple New Balance though. I love the way Adidas look but they are too narrow on my foot.

Yes I agree, there is rather a problem with the toe room for me too with Addidas. The support is great and the spikes were nice when I owned them but they rubbed.

Reeboks seem to be popular locally, with a Reebok store just a few miles away, so they are nice and easy to get hold of.

We used to have a rather nice Nike store, but now its a cellular phone store instead. I prefer to shop at a non-brand store so I can see a selection of different brands. Then I can try and match something I like but doesn't fit me properly.

The Reebok store is good for discounts for me though, and hence I don't mind the lack of variety. You get a loyalty card and a stamp for every pair that you buy. Ever fifth pair is 50% off whatever the current cost of that pair is (even if they are already on sale) and they often have buy one get one free offers with a certain number of stamps on your card. Can't knock that!
