Okay I am 24 years old Mission Viejo California, Orange County if you dont know the area.
I run a 10.0 in the 100m and a 20.25 in the 200m

My question is this. How do I qualify for the Olympic trials. I was told that I have to compete in a USATF sanctioned event and meet the Qualifying standards. My times are within the standards but I JUST DONT KNOW where these sanctioned events are and how to enter them. I dont know if they are open to anyone or if I have to be apart of a team or whatever. Im basically new to this. So any and as much help with this would be greatly appreciated...

I hope that you are running for a college team with those times. 10.00 flat in the 100 is a blistering pace and would clearly garner you a spot at the top of the NCAA's.

That would put you with an auto qualify to the trials in the States I believe.
